Dana Petroleum has reached “a major milestone” with the Western Isles project by laying the keel for its radical $400 million oil production vessel at COSCO’s giant fabrication yard on the shores of the Yangtze River, China
The floating, production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) will displace around 26,000 tonnes and store up to 400,000 barrels of oil.
Energy editor Jeremy Cresswell spoke to Dana Petroleum chief executive Marcus Richards on the company’s new vessel and future plans.
