The finalists for the annual Oil & Gas Awards have been announced, following a “high number of entries” for this year’s event, the industry body revealed.
For each of the awards categories external judges have chosen three nominees out of all entries submitted before the end of August.
The winner in each category will be presented with a specially commissioned glass trophy during the awards ceremony on November 7 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
“In this year of record investment on the UKCS, it’s fitting that we also invest time in celebrating the achievements of some exceptional people working in our industry today, and share their stories,” said Trisha O’Reilly, Oil & Gas UK communications director.
“We are looking forward to what we’re sure will be a great event again this year, and we are expecting to sell-out with over half of tickets sold already.”
