RSK Group plans to expand its graduate program this year and beyond.
The international environmental services company said in addition to 40 current graduate places in the UK, the company has also committed to four new graduate placements in the Middle East.
This marks the first time that RSK has created dedicated roles in the region, despite the falling oil price.
Technical graduates will take on sales and marketing roles in the first instance, before being assigned to different specialisms within the wider business.
HR manager Sarah Murphy, said: “Our flexible, entrepreneurial management structure enables us to expand into places, such as the Middle East, where others may not be able to go. It also means
we are able to continually adapt and hone our graduate programmes to respond to our business needs and those of the graduate community.
“As we continue to expand into new markets outside of the UK and Europe, there are more and more opportunities for graduates to gain invaluable experience and help to influence our growth plans.”
The company’s board has also pledged further support to expand and improve its existing UK-focused graduate scheme.
RSK is looking to hire the next tranche of graduates to join the geosciences programme and placement are due to open up soon for other environmental departments.
