ESS said it has reduced its headcount by 58 employees in Norway.
The company said an additional 30 roles have also gone from the company as it looks to downsize as a result of the oil downturn.
According to reports in Norwegian media, the company has around 600 members of staff in the country.
At its peak, there were around 1,000 employees before downsizing to 800.
The company is the largest of its kind in the catering industry on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Chief executive Therese Log Bergjord said it had seen a decline in staffing following the end of a contract with ConocoPhillips in 2014.
