Det Norske has been hit with a number of improvement points by the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) after an audit was carried out in connection with its Ivar Aasen development project.
The safety body carried out the assessment in a bid to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirement for barrier management on the project.
The PSA said the move was to make sure the company was working in accordance with its PDO.
Improvement points included its automatic fuses as well as its cooling water system and Class H firewall.
Det Norske has been given until June 20th 2016 to report on how the improvement points will be dealt with.
It comes after both ConocoPhillips and Statoil were also hit with improvement points by the PSA.
