A patient was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary yesterday after falling ill on board an offshore standby vessel.
The crew of the Glomar Pride, standby vessel for the Tiffany platform, contacted Aberdeen Coastguard at shortly before noon.
A coastguard helicopter from Inverness flew out to the vessel which was 155-miles north-east of Aberdeen.
The casualty, who was suffering kidney pains, arrived at ARI shortly before 4pm.
