Total senior communications advisor Sandra McLennan, said: “One of our key objectives is to encourage and promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activity to schools within our local community, to inspire and encourage the necessary skills for the younger generation to consider the oil and gas industry as a future career.
“As sponsor of this event for the past six years we have been able to introduce [Total] graduates to the pupils to give them an insight to the importance of maths in our working lives. We wish the teams every success at the Scottish finals”.
Organising teacher from Fraserburgh Academy Jim Bovill said: “Everyone involved with this challenge are incredibly proud of these talented individuals and wish to congratulate them again on their success. We wish them all the best of luck for the finals later this year”.
