Restrata has formed a strategic partnership with Shetland Facilities Management (FM) to further expand its HR response service to companies operating in the Northern North Sea.
The move will see Shetland FM work alongside the Health and Safety Executive arm of Restrata to mobilise a HR responder in the event of an incident to look after the welfare of people who may have been evacuated to the islands.
Restrata is expecting to deliver a HR response facility in the West of Shetland in addition to its existing services in the Southern North Sea and Liverpool Bay area.
Shetland FM was launched in 2014 and provides round the clock personnel support to companies which require hotel services, recreation and welfare, security and logistics.
The company currently delivers full facility management services to the Laggan-Tormore construction project adjacent to the Sullom Voe Oil terminal in Shetland.
Alan McIntyre, UK manager for crisis and continuity management at Restrata, said:“Following an increase in offshore activity across the West of Shetland, it’s more important than ever that companies are equipped and prepared to deal with all possible eventualities.”
