Lundin Petroleum has been given a number of improvement points by the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) after an audit into the Swedish company’s barrier management.
The firm was audited at the end of May this year as the safety body looked into the interactions between operational, organisation and technical and barrier elements.
A deadline of September 1st has now been given for the company to report on how the improvement points are being met.
They include use of fire pumps, module training, rescue of personnel from lockable cabins and coordinating working environment committee.
