A number of Dutch companies are to take part in offshore wind projects in China.
Oceanteam Solutions, KCI the Engineers and OFFCO have struck a consultancy and representation agreement.
It covers installation and cable lay operations in the Asian country, with Oceanteam and KCI supplying marine equipment and engineering capabilities.
KCI director of sales & marketing Jan Willem van Bloois said: “Neither KCI nor Oceanteam has an extensive sales network in China, which is a notoriously difficult market to enter.
“OFFCO knows the Chinese market and speaks the language. At the same time it is a partner that we have known very well for many years.”
The partners said that they are currently collaborating on an “offer for a major renewable energy project in China”.
