FMC Technologies will make up to 200 job losses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The move comes on the same day as Aker Solutions said it would be making around 100 temporary job cuts until work picks up next year.
The company said it would be making the 200 job losses now during the ‘low season’ where there is less activity in the Norwegian North Sea.
According to reports no concrete figure has been set but it is expected up to 200 roles could go.
Earlier Statoil revealed it would be starting a recruitment drive this Autumn for up to 40 positions on the UKCS.
