Aker Solutions staff in Norway have been warned they must prepare for layoffs in the company.
According to reports in Norwegian media, the firm has told employees in Egersund and Jattavagen they should be prepared for layoffs.
It was not indicated how many roles could be at risk.
Earlier this week it was revealed the first contracts for the Dvalin field had been awarded to both Aker Solutions and Aibel.
A spokeswoman for Aker Solutions said staff were told at a meeting on Tuesday they would be looking at staff redundancies.
