Beerenberg says it will have to cut a further 250 positions from its company.
The move means the oil service provider will have had to cut a total of 500 positions in recent months.
According to reports, the job losses will be made as a result of a major contract coming to an end in Spring 2017.
A spokesman for the firm said the market continues to be “challenging” with no indication the decline in work will change in the coming months.
