Global Maritime Consultancy has been awarded a Master Services Agreement (MSA) from Statoil.
The contract comprises studies in platform technology and safety, marine verifications and surveys of warranty issues.
The recently signed agreement replaces previous framework agreements between Statoil and Global Maritime.
Chief executive of Global Maritime Consultancy, David Sutton, said: “This is recognition of the work conducted by Statoil over the recent years.
“It is also a testament to the strength of our cooperation and our focus on innovation, operational excellence and ability to deliver.”
Earlier today Statoil said it had made two oil discoveries in the Norwegian Sea, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) confirmed today.
