Norwegian oil service firm Aker Solutions has inked two five-year framework deals to “potentially” supply BP with subsea production systems.
The agreements position Aker as one of four preferred suppliers who can bid for work on BP’s worldwide development portfolio.
Aker chief executive Luis Araujo said: “This further expands our long-standing relationship with BP, which spans more than 20 years.
“We look forward to working together to find sustainable solutions for securing needed energy resources from BP’s subsea fields around the world.”
