COSL Innovator: How the investigation into wave rig death unfolded

On December 30th last year an offshore worker was killed after a freak wave hit the side of the COSL Innovator rig.

It had been hired by Norwegian operator Statoil to work on the Troll field.

Aker Solutions worker Rune Morten Narvag was killed in the tragedy.

Since the incident, investigations have taken place with all the companies involved.
