Shell’s head of exploration will step down next month, according to reports.
Ceri Powell will become managing director of Brunei Shell Petroleum in March.
Powell joined Shell in 1990.
Her move is part of a broad reshuffle of senior positions following the completion of Shell’s $54billion acquisition of BG Group last year.
Powell will be replace by Shell’s current upstream vice president Marc Gerrits.
He started his career in Shell in 1986 as an exploration geologist in Australia.
