A 32-year-old man who was killed after an oil tanker caught fire has been named by authorities.
Weld County Coroner Carl Blesch named Oscar Lopez Velasquez as the victim.
Three other workers were injured in the blast, which took place in Colorado on Thursday. Their condition remains unknown.
The fire erupted as the work was being carried out to upgrade the oil tank battery.
The cause remains unknown.
Anadarko Petroleum, which has a facility in Mead, about 40 miles north of Denver has joined state agencies and the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration in investigating the cause.
Anadarko’s facility was not in service at the time.
