Upstream oil and gas firm President Energy has appointed Bruce Martin to the post of chief financial officer.
He was the Global Finance Director of the Integrated Project Management division (IPM) at Schlumberger for five years.
Prior to that, he had a 22-year career with the oil service giant, including holding the positions of Regional Group Finance Director for Mexico and Central America, South East Asia and Ecuador.
Martin will start work with President on June 19 as the head of the company’s existing finance teams, reporting directly to chairman Peter Levine.
Although based in the UK he will be spending time at the group’s South American operations.
Martin replaces Richard Swindells who performed a part time, interim role on a contract basis over the last year and who is now leaving.
