Manufacturer and supplier of valves to the energy industry, PJ Valves (PJV), hire Tien Do to oversee global operations as group operations director.
Do will be leading project delivery and overseeing operations at PJV’s global marketing facilities from the company’s UK office.
The new operations director has two decades worth of previous experience having served as director of projects and tenders at National Oilwell Varco after the acquisition of Fjords Processing.
Previously to National Varco, Tein Do held the position of Operations Director at Fjords Processing from 2007 to 2016, where he led development of its manufacturing facility in Shanghai.
Tien Do also has previous experience of having worked on the Catcher FPSO project, one of the world’s largest floating production storage and offloading vessels.
Tien said: “Having worked on large technical projects, I understand the complexities involved and the importance of meeting clients’ exacting standards. Above all, they demand fast execution and a manufacturer they can depend on. PJV already has a strong reputation for its high-quality manufactured products and I look forward to leading its facilities in India and Italy.”
Dan Munro, group managing director, added: “With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Tien has the crucial role of enhancing our customer service, which is very important to us as a business.
“He will also ensure all manufactured products remain of the highest quality and are aligned with industry standards. With his wealth of knowledge, including EPC expertise and understanding of valve procurement, he is the ideal candidate to consult our customers, drive our projects forward and champion our manufacturing facilities.”
