An expanding Consulting Division at Anderson Anderson & Brown LLP (AAB), one of the UK’s leading independent firms of Chartered Accountants + Business Advisors, is well prepared to support continued Oil & Gas industry recovery and growth in 2018 with its uniquely positioned Associate Network.
The Network, which totals 30 associates, is a key development in AAB’s Consulting service streams, adding a further dimension to the expertise of AAB’s in-house Consulting team and wider services. The diverse set of skills, knowledge and expertise within the network compliments and builds upon AAB’s international presence and its established UK office base in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and London.
AAB work with the members of this network to bring expertise and skills together to understand client issues, develop solutions and deliver sustainable results for them. The combined experience of all members means that AAB can not only deliver services across strategy, operations, human capital, supply chain, IT and data & analytics, but also highly specialist services within each of these areas including enterprise risk, treasury, compliance and change readiness programmes for significant events such as Brexit.
Alasdair Green, a dedicated E&P Consulting Specialist at AAB commented; “Whilst oil price volatility has been painful for most of us since the start of the recent downturn in 2014, these market conditions have driven many to adapt and change their business models. Now, with a return to a more economically viable oil price in the $60 range – that crucially in 2017 has been relatively stable compared to recent years, this will create a more confident and rewarding business environment in 2018.
A positive outcome of recent changes and challenges in our industry means that businesses have a need to become more efficient and focused. With greater market stability, it is now crucial that this remains the focus and it will encourage opportunities to adopt new technologies and methods of working. The introduction of the Consulting Associate Network affords AAB a much broader capacity to deliver this and builds on the more traditional services streams delivered by the firm in the Oil & Gas industry in areas such Accounting, Audit, Tax, Corporate Finance and Payroll.
