Energy service firm Subsea 7 has netted two contracts with Aker BP for projects in the Norwegian North Sea.
Oslo-listed Subsea 7 said the contracts for the Skogul project and Valhall Flank West project were worth between $50-$150million in total.
On Skogul, Subsea 7 will be involved in the engineering of a long-distance tie-back to the Alvheim FPSO. It will start work on that contract straight away, with offshore operations scheduled in 2019.
The Valhall Flank West project comprises a 4kilometre tie-back to the Valhall Centre, including an umbilical and riser system.
Subsea 7 will start work offshore in 2018 with a view to finishing in 2019.
