Two Aberdeen firms are expanding their horizons after opening offices in Glasgow and Egypt.
Creative agency Form Digital – based in Little Belmont Street – has also appointed a new director, Mark Gordon, after acquiring his business, 3eight, for an undisclosed sum.
Form co-founder and digital director Kyle McKenzie will head up the new Eastvale Place operation in Glasgow’s west end, aiming to explore potential new partnerships and take advantage of the city’s thriving creative scene.
In the past three months, the firm has secured several large contracts with companies in the food and drink, oil & gas and commercials sectors. Aberdeen clients include Albyn School, EC-OG, Food Story and Knight Property Group.
Mr McKenzie said: “It’s an exciting time for Form, particularly with the opportunity to concentrate on bigger projects the length and breadth of Scotland.”
Xodus Group’s new office in Cairo and the firm’s first general manager in Egypt are aimed at building on the Aberdeen-based energy consultancy’s track record in the country, while also targeting new contracts.
Since 2013, Xodus has won more than £2million worth of contracts in Egypt.
Much of that work was previously won and carried out by its offices in Aberdeen and London. However, research found a local base was needed.
The new office is in the Maadi district of Cairo, and central to many oil and gas company regional headquarters.
Xodus is exhibiting in the Scotland Pavilion at the Egypt Petroleum Show, which runs from February 12 to 14.
