ENERGY industry body Subsea UK is urging companies and individuals to nominate outstanding achievements and be considered for the 2012 Subsea Business Awards.
The annual competition, now in its sixth year, celebrates innovation and excellence in the UK’s valuable subsea sector.
Award categories include subsea company of the year, emerging talent, new enterprise, innovation and technology, global exports and safety leadership.
There is also an honour for outstanding contribution to recognise an individual who has demonstrated commitment to and success in the industry over a long time.
Subsea UK chief executive Neil Gordon said: “In a year where the subsea industry has gone from strength to strength, we are delighted to be able to celebrate world-class achievements from individuals and companies across the sector.
“The UK subsea sector prides itself on its game-changing approach and our awards recognise those high-flying organisations and individuals who have shown flair, creativity and vision in business development, skills, technology and innovation.”
The awards ceremony is expected to attract more than 700 industry leaders to Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on the opening night, February 8, of the two-day Subsea 2012 industry showcase.
