A new contract for OEG Offshore has taken the value of the oil and gas industry cabin and container firm’s global projects order book to £3.8 million.
Aberdeen-based OEG said yesterday it was to design, manufacture and supply a control module for Baker Hughes, a GE company (BHGE).
It will work with risk management group DNV GL on the project, which will see the module installed on Point Resources’ Ringhorne platform in the Norwegian North Sea.
OEG will outfit the module and pre-test all systems prior to dismantling and packaging them for delivery. It will also supply technicians to help with installation, re-assembly, hook-up and commissioning of the module later this year.
Director Dave Hunter said: “Our existing relationship with BHGE and wider supply chain has provided the opportunity to secure another significant module contract in less than a year.”
