COSALT Offshore is to supply lifeboat inspection and maintenance services to oil and gas operator Chevron in the North Sea under a five-year agreement.
The deal is worth up to £250,000 over the full-term.
Cosalt commercial director Lisa Mitchell said: “Winning this long-term agreement from such an important client as Chevron demonstrates that our investment in developing the lifeboat division is contributing to our ongoing success.”
Cosalt Offshore, which provides lifting, tooling and marine services to the oil and gas industry, has 300 personnel based in Aberdeen and a further 110 at its operations in Stavanger and Lowestoft.
It supplies a full range of lifeboats and marine safety equipment besides handling commissioning, servicing, testing and installation work. Other long-term deals secured recently by Cosalt Offshore involve work for clients including BP, PSN, Subsea 7 and Aker Solutions.
