THE finalists for this year’s Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards – known as the Oil Oscars – have been announced.
Organised by Scottish Enterprise in conjunction with the industry and key co- sponsors, the awards celebrate innovation, success and the achievements of individuals, companies and organisations from throughout the offshore energy sector.
Jim Mather, the Scottish minister for enterprise, energy and tourism will attend the awards as guest of honour and deliver a keynote speech.

The winner of the Outstanding Contribution award, sponsored by Shell UK, will be announced on the night as will the Overall Achievement Award.
The awards ceremony and dinner will be held on Thursday, March 26 in Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Hosted by Sally Magnusson, the black-tie event will begin with a reception at 6.45pm with dinner to follow at 8pm.
