A parrot has swooped in for a visit over the weekend on the Stena DrillMAX rig in Las Palmas, Spain.
The bird, which looks to be an African Grey Parrot, wasn’t afraid to get on the shoulder of one worker who fed it a banana.
Posting the pictures on online networking site LinkedIN, Stenna said: “We recently welcomed a feathered friend on a flying visit to Stena DrillMAX in Las Palmas.”
The Stena DrillMAX is a harsh environment rig dynamically positioned DP Class 3 drillship capable of drilling in water depths up to 10,000ft.
