Petrofac has announced it has secured a series of well engineering contracts worth £15.3m, including work in the North Sea.
Energy services giant said part of the figure was made up by an exclusive five-year well operator services contract with Tailwind Energy in the central North Sea.
Tailwind completed its acquisition of stakes in the Triton cluster from Shell and ExxonMobil earlier this month, with the floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) lying 120miles east of Aberdeen.
Under the deal, Petrofac will act as well operator for the Gannet E, Belinda and Evelyn fields which are producing through the vessel.
Petrofac has also been awarded well engineering scopes with two major international oil companies and three national firms in Iraq, Turkey and New Zealand.
