At least 60 people have been killed after a pipeline explosion south east of Nigeria.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation said last week that the fire, near the city of Aba, had been caused by vandals who breached the pipeline.
The System 2E pipeline supplies imported gasoline and output from Nigeria’s Port Harcourt refineries.
Pumping from the line has since been halted.
The figure is up from an initial tally of 16 dead, given by the National Emergency Management Agency on Friday.
