Aberdeen-based Petrotechnics has made a trio of appointments to oversee growth in the US and Middle East.
The technology firm has reported “accelerated demand” in both regions, having recently been awarded contracts with international operators.
Bill Lutz has been hired as regional manager for North America, having previously worked for CPFD Software and Bentley Systems.
Petrotechnics has also promoted David Ross to Middle East manager, having spent the last six years working in the region for the firm, and Sophie Menard as its partner solutions manager for the Middle East, who has been with the company for five years and previously worked for Accenture.
It comes after Petrotechnics won work with BASF and Petronas and the launch of the firm’s Proscient digital twin software.
Chief operating officer Iain Mackay said: “As Petrotechnics continues to develop its global growth strategy, these appointments further strengthen the company’s go to market efforts and will be instrumental in building on the momentum we have achieved to date.
“Exciting opportunities are ahead for Petrotechnics, and I look forward to working with these industry leaders to bring the power of Proscient into the hands of global, asset-intensive operators around the world, keeping more people and assets safe and productive.”
