Offshore diving specialist Namaka Subsea has appointed a 40-year veteran as its new operations manager.
Alan Melia joins the company from the International Marine Contractors Association, where he was technical manager,
He has also held roles at Global Energy Group and Stork Technical Services.
Namaka, which also focuses on ROV operations, moved into the “Energy Park” in Bridge of Don earlier this month.
The firm also has operations in Trinidad and Tobago and Singapore.
Director Sandy Harper said “It is great to introduce Alan to the team as he brings with him years of operational experience including project management and engineering as well as diving safety expertise.
“I personally look forward to working with Alan again, having worked with him previously over the years”
