Lifeboat crews in Aberdeen were sent to help a sick crew member aboard an offshore vessel last night.
With seven crew members on board, the all-weather vessel Bon Accord sailed to the MV Maersk Laser just after 7pm.
The offshore supply ship was around five miles south-east of Aberdeen at the time.
Once arriving at the scene, two RNLI casualty-care members boarded the vessel to assess the injured worker.
The man was then brought back onto the lifeboat, in line with advice the boat’s coxswain received from the emergency department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
