International engineering and project-management company Amec said today its joint venture with Clough had been given a two-year contract extension.
The Clough Amec business provides operations and maintenance services to ConocoPhillips’ Bayu Undan facilities located in the Timor Sea to the north-west of Australia.
The contract extension is estimated to be worth about £65.4million.
Clough Amec was founded to offer engineering, operations and maintenance services to clients in the Australasian oil and gas industry and has been working on the Bayu-Undan facilities since 2004.
Bayu Undan includes a floating storage and offloading facility and three fixed platforms, a remote wellhead platform, and a compression, utilities and quarters platform bridge-linked to a drilling, production and processing platform.
