Aberdeen-headquartered Nucore Group has announced the double appointment of a new chief executive and non-executive chairman.
Mark Fraser, a former managing director at Sequoyah, joined the firm as chief financial officer (CFO) in 2018.
He also served a near six year stint within the finance department at oilfield service firm Baker Hughes.
Russell Ward, a former director at Cape, now Altrad Services UK, joins as non-executive chairman.
Mr Ward also holds a number of other non-exec chairmanships at Heliex Power, Advanced Insulation and Formaplex.
Nucore Group provide tailored engineering equipment for the offshore oil and gas, onshore petrochemical and marine industries.

The firm said Mr Fraser will focus on the Nucore Group’s “strategic and commercial opportunities”.
He said he was looking forward to showcasing the firm’s “experience in the offshore energy sector.
He added: “I’m delighted to have been appointed as the group’s CEO.
“We are looking forward to building on our company’s strong track record to further expand our international reach, all of which is supported by our strong and very experienced workforce.”
Mr Russell said: “I’m pleased to be joining the board of Nucore Group as non-exec chairman and the opportunity to work with Mark, the team and the investors to assist them in their growth and development plans.”
