Operators of the Beatrice offshore windfarm say it has produced the highest amount of energy from any single renewables source in Scotland to date.
Turbines at the windfarm in the outer Moray Firth this week reached their capacity of 588 megawatts, which is enough to power 450,000 homes.
Construction at the site, the largest offshore windfarm in Scotland was completed two weeks ago with the installation of the 84th turbine.
Last month, SSE confirmed the project would create up to 90 full-time jobs with the majority being in Wick.

Each of the 84 turbines stand taller than the London Eye, at 188metres from sea level to blade tip.
Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Limited (BOWL) is a joint venture between SSE Renewables (40%), Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (35%) and Red Rock Power (25%).
