ABERDEEN company Asset Development and Improvement (ADI) is relocating its head office in the city and planning to add another 10 people to its workforce.
The independent consultant, which provided development and operations management support to the energy industry, is moving from Regent Quay to Rubislaw Terrace. The relocation to larger premises represents an investment of £400,000 and is part of a wider company drive to internationalise and grow its workforce.
ADI said the new premises would also allow it to work closer with key clients based in Aberdeen’s west end.
The firm was launched in 2006 with five founding members, led by Aberdonian James Paton, who was previously employed by Paladin Resources.
Since then, the company has grown rapidly and now employs 45.
ADI’s turnover has climbed from £400,000 in the first year to a projected £6million-plus in 2010.
This follows recent contract wins with organisations including Dana Petroleum, TAQA Bratani and Serica Energy, which will generate £10million for the company over the next 18 months.
