NAUTRONIX, the Aberdeen-based designer and maker of specialised electronic systems and software for the offshore energy industry, said in its latest annual report, just released by Companies House, that it performed well in the year to June 30.
Directors said there was a view that 2010 would bring fewer opportunities as the impact of deferred projects across the globe was felt, but that view was tempered by optimism the market would be quick to recover.
Accounts show Nautronix (Holdings), whose biggest shareholder is Aberdeen businessman Ian Suttie, posted pre-tax profits of £5.86million for the period against profits of £3.84million the year before.
The accounts also showed the unnamed highest-paid director, likely to be managing director Mark Patterson, received emoluments of £410,000 for the year, up from £392,000 a year earlier. He also received pension contributions of £25,000, against £105,000 the year before.
The accounts for its UK subsidiary show it contributed pre-tax profits of £2.78million to the group, up from £455,271 the previous year.
