Ithaca Energy today said the floating production vessel for its Athena development in the North Sea would be setting sail for the UK in mid-February.
The vessel, the BW Athena, has been undergoing upgrade work in Dubai, which had faced delays but was now being made ready for its journey.
Ithaca also gave an update of its spending plans for 2012 and its 2011 production.
It said it had more than £64.9million cash at the end of 2011 and was planning 2012 net capital expenditure of about £136million, mostly on developing its Greater Stella Area development in the central North Sea, in which Petrofac is a partner.
It would also include about £15.5million on an appraisal well on its Hurricane discovery, scheduled to start in late the first quarter of this year.
Ithaca said its full-year export production for 2011 was 1.5million barrels of oil equivalent (boe), a daily average of 4,370boe net to Ithaca.
It suffered downtime on the Cook field in the last quarter, due to partial failure of a subsea control module, and on the Beatrice field in December due to electrical power outages and a temporary failure of the produced water treatment system.
However, current daily export production stood at about 5,010boepd net, following a workover on the Ithaca-operated Beatrice Bravo platform.
