Oilfield services firm Petrofac has secured a three-year framework deal with operator EnQuest for North Sea services.
The deal, an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) agreement, will see Petrofac provide services across EnQuest’s North Sea and onshore asset base.
The work will be serviced from Petrofac’s Aberdeen office.
Petrofac refused to disclose the value of the the contract.
A further two-year deal, awarded by an unknown Southern North Se operator, is also an EPCC arrangement.
Nick Shorten, managing director for Petrofac’s Engineering and Production Services business in the Western Hemisphere said: “In a mature basin like the UKCS, technical certainty and predictable delivery are critical success factors.
“The award of these FAs recognises our ability to combine our extensive engineering and construction expertise and offshore operations experience to drive repeatable project outcomes.
“We very much look forward to building on the success of our existing relationship with EnQuest by safely supporting it to enhance recovery and extend field life in the North Sea.”
