Energy service company Senergy, of Aberdeen, said yesterday it had seen a substantial increase in business, particularly in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Accounts from Companies House showed Senergy Holdings, which provides services to the energy industry, made pre-tax profits of £3.5million on turnover of £80.2million during the year to May 31. In 2009-10, Senergy made pre-tax profits of £6.7million on turnover of £74.5million.
Chief financial officer Neil Campbell said the firm had invested in opening new offices in the UK, America, Norway and the Middle East in addition to building on other regional operations.
It also acquired a North American business, SGC Engineering.
