Dundee-based engineering firm Pryme Group has confirmed its chief executive Angus Gray has left the company.
Mr Gray joined the company three years ago.
Chief financial officer Kerrie Murray has been appointed as interim CEO.
Chairman Lawrence Ross said: “The board is confident that the company is in good hands under Kerrie’s leadership and remains well-placed to achieve its growth objectives given rising optimism in the oil and gas sector and diversification into other markets.”
Pryme incurred pre-tax losses of £7.2 million for the year ending March 31 2019.
Mr Ross added: “We can confirm that, effective February 6th (2020), Angus Gray has left his position as chief executive officer (CEO) of Pryme Group. We would like to thank Angus for his contribution since joining Pryme Group in January 2017 and wish him well in his future career.
“The company has moved swiftly to appoint Kerrie Murray as interim CEO, whilst she remains chief financial officer (CFO). Members of the finance department will assume additional responsibilities in order to allow Kerrie to manage both positions.
“Pryme Group continues to invest in its people, facilities and equipment and is committed to providing cost-effective and innovative solutions which add value to our clients’ operations across our core markets.
“Kerrie has received the full backing of the board and the senior leadership team to drive the group towards profitability. We expect to announce a permanent appointment in the coming months.”
