Exploration and production firm Tullow Oil said today it aimed to increase production to 100,000 barrels of oil per day in 2012 from about 75,000 currently.
The prediction came at a conference held as part of Africa Oil Week.
Tullow, which has extensive interests across Africa, said earlier in the week it had signed a deal that will allow it to take charge of the development of three oil and gas discoveries offshore of Mauritania.
