Aberdeen oil and gas consultant ADIL has won a £500,000 deal with Iona Energy to provide management support on the development of a North Sea field.
Iona is operator at the Kells field in UK waters and has taken on ADIL for support during the pre-sanction phase of the development. ADIL said the work would take place over the next six months and could lead to a further agreement in future.
James Paton, the firm’s managing director, said the early stages of development usually had the greatest impact on the value of oil and gas projects and the consultancy would use its North Sea experience to find the best development plan for Kells.
