Aberdeen project-management firm EPC Offshore said yesterday it hoped to grow significantly in 2012 after launching new services.
The firm, founded in 2009 and turning over more than £6million last year, focuses on work with exploration and production companies to take projects through sanction and development.
It now wants to also work in brownfield, subsea and floating production and storage markets and, following a restructure, has created three project units to cover these areas.
After doubling staff last year to 60, EPC expects to double that again to 120 during 2012.
Chief executive Keith Wallace, said: “While we have carried out elements of contract and procurement work for clients, this has been limited to contracts with turnover of around £2.5million annually.
“We see vast potential for growth in this area and our eventual aim is to become a centre of excellence capable of turning over projects in excess of £50million within the next two or three years.”
The firm said it was looking to appoint a chief commercial officer to lead the new initiative.
