A new university collaboration has established a link between the north-east and the Finnish energy sector.
Robert Gordon University’s (RGU) Aberdeen Business School has launched the MBA in energy business programme with the University of Vaasa in Finland. The first intake, mainly Finnish students, will receive distance learning and support workshops taught in Finland by RGU lecturers.
MBA energy business programme leader at RGU Brian McNay said: “There is an opportunity through the students on the programme to establish a relationship between Aberdeen and Vaasa – a recognised industrial centre for the developing energy industry in Finland.”
The University of Vaasa was formed in 1968 and prides itself on providing high-quality business education.
