The chief executive of North Sea oil firm Lochard Energy has been voted out by shareholders.
Haydn Gardner has left the company after an extraordinary meeting yesterday, together with fellow director Lincoln McCrabb, leaving non-executive director Michael Rose as the sole member of its board.
It had previously been reported that shareholders were concerned Mr Gardner was based in Australia while overseeing a North Sea-focused company.
Lochard’s shares, which traded on the Alternative Investment Market, were suspended yesterday while the company appoints additional board members.
