The Scottish Highland Renewable Energy Conference was held in Inverness yesterday.
The event, now in its third year, attracted more than 200 landowners, developers, suppliers and members of north communities to the Drumossie Hotel.
Hosted by Scottish law firm Harper Macleod, the show focused on providing practical advice on developing wind, hydro, biomass or solar projects.
Speakers included Martin Moran from National Grid, Audrey MacIver, head of energy at Highlands and Islands Enterprise, and Darren Hirst, an associate in the renewable-energy team at property consultant Bidwells.
A series of breakout meetings covered topics such as energy-efficient housing and community renewable-energy projects.
