Oil and gas firm North Sea Energy (NSE) said today it had appointed Ian Lisseter as head of its UK business.
The firm, listed in Canada, added the senior petroleum geologist would be president of North Sea Energy UK.
He is currently chief exploration officer of NSE and the president of Echo Exploration, another wholly-owned UK subsidiary of the group.
Mr Lisseter has previously worked at Challenger Minerals North Sea, a division of Transocean, and also spent 20 years at Conoco UK.
NSE’s UK arm has production from the Jacky field in the Inner Moray Firth, and interests in nine blocks in the North Sea.
