Centrica starts drilling on Cooper

Faroe Petroleum, of Aberdeen, said yesterday that drilling had started on the Centrica-operated Cooper prospect in the Norwegian Sea.

Faroe Petroleum, of Aberdeen, said yesterday that drilling had started on the Centrica-operated Cooper prospect in the Norwegian Sea.

Faroe Petroleum, of Aberdeen, said yesterday that drilling had started on the Centrica-operated Cooper prospect in the Norwegian Sea.

The exploration well is in PL477 in block 6506/11 on the Halten Terrace. Faroe has a 30% stake in Cooper.
